People in each of the 12 Living in Niagara Sectors are participating in 2019 working sessions to review and modernize Indicators and Measures in all Sectors of the Living in Niagara report. Niagara Connects is facilitating the sessions, to gauge Sector progress since release of the Living in Niagara-2017 report, and advance construction of the 2020 edition.
The Living in Niagara report provides a holistic picture of socio-economic progress in Niagara. It is published every 3 years by Niagara Connects, in partnership with the Niagara Community Foundation. The year 2020 will mark the report’s fifth edition.
The Living in Niagara report weaves together data and front-line community knowledge, to describe quality of life across the region. The 12 Living in Niagara Sectors are described and established by the Niagara-wide community, to align with the Social Determinants of Health.
Report construction methodology has evolved since its inception in 2008. Indicators and Measures in the 2020 report will reflect current practice and new knowledge in each Sector.
